I can't stop thinking about this quote.
"People want to root for someone on a mission."
That hit me square in the chest and has consumed my thoughts. Think about your favorite movie where someone is on a relentless mission. Man On Fire, Equalizer 3, Terminal List, Harry Potter, iRobot, I Am Legend, Rocky, etc. The energy and magic are tough to replicate.
In this podcast, I discuss these 4 major ideas. Specifically explaining what I believe my mission is right now, in the summer of 2024.
What the quote means to me.
What is my mission?
Structure.
Where to start if you don't know what mission you are on.

In this conversation, Ryan Ward jumps on podcast. He is on a mission to turn his interests into income without quitting his 9 to 5 job. We connected on the phone and he convinced me to sign up for Zach Pogrob’s Press Record 30 Challenge. I had to get Ryan on the podcast because I love what he is building and then we could discuss the first week of the PR30 challenge.
PR30 is publishing one video that is longer than 90 seconds for 30 days straight. The key is iteration and improving the skill of speaking on camera.

Live from our living room! Today’s episode is with my great friend, roommate, and Athletic Trainer for the University of Portland Ben Shabb!
Recording podcasts with close friends is always special because it’s an opportunity to break through the surface and dive deeper. In this episode, we dive into prepping for the Eugene Marathon, going to Kenya, and perspective upgrades. Shabb even hits me with a hammer of a question at the end of the episode!
