#19 - Logan Emory - Identity, Listening, & What Do You Want Life To Look Like?

Today’s guest is Logan Emory. Current Assistant Coach For UP Women’s Soccer at the University of Portland and is a Pilot Alum competing on the Men’s Soccer team during his college career. Logan played professionally with Toronto FC and the Puerto Rico Islanders.

Born and raised in Boise, Idaho Logan brings it in this episode. Diving into the lessons that he learned from his journey from high school, college, professional, and then back into coaching at high level. Communication, connection, and understanding are themes in this conversation from the perspective of our parents, family, coaching athletes, and in life with ourselves.

Two topics I really enjoyed were his story about getting to know his grandfather and towards the end podcast unpacking the label “grinder” in sports.

Appreciate you all and can’t say thanks enough to the people who have reached out to me about what they have enjoyed. It pushes me to keep going.
